I am an experienced and highly professional golfer and tutor and I currently provide golf lessons at the club here in Crook, County Durham. I have a wealth of experience in the golf industry spanning the last 23 years, gained in England and Germany, working both as a teaching professional and club professional, and amrecognised as one of the leading coaches in the region.

After leaving school, I undertook Sports Management Training and was attached to Durham City Golf Club, following success as an amateur winning Golf Foundation Cub events, I became an assistant professional at Otley Golf Club before moving to Ilkley Golf Club where I passed the PGA examinations to become a fully qualified PGA Professional.

During this time, I had success in Assistants Competitions and in the Leeds Cup which is one of Yorkshire's most prestigious events. I was then approached to take up a teaching professional's post in Southern Germany and I carried out this role at Golf Club Bruchsal and Baden Golf and Country Club before being appointed Head Professional at Baden.

Following five years in Southern Germany, I was asked to become a Teaching Professional in North Germany and I became Head Professional at Golf Club Varmert responsible for management of the Club Shop, Driving Range and Coaching.

During my 12 years in Germany, I had considerable tournament successes winning ProAms in Spain and the PGA Teaching Professional Tournaments in Strasbourg and Stuttgart and EPDTOUR events in Switzerland and Heidelberg.

Following a dip in the German economy, I decided to return to England where I took on the role of Teaching Professional at The Cranfield Golf Academy before moving to another leading Teaching Academy N1, to set up their business in Morpeth. I was then offered a post at Parklands Golf Cub in Newcastle before being offered the position of Club Professional at Crook Golf Club where I commenced duties at the beginning of 2009.

My aim remains to be recognised as the best golf coach in the region.
